Fishing Report June 2016

June Started out a little slower and warmer than I would like, due to a few spikes in temperature the fished moved around more than normal.  Once the temperature stabilized the fishing picked up very fast, with Redfish, Black Drum and Small Sea Trout all plentiful around Cumberland Island. Judging by the pictures below I would consider June a success! Look at those great catches!! I was super impressed with everyone that we took this month being able to reel in these fish. The only hold up we have faced during June would be all the afternoon thunderstorms that have forced us to mainly run morning trips but the bite has still been good! Majority of the morning trips have started out with top water plugs in shallow water and converted over to smaller Tail Chaser jigs as the temperature started to warm up. The color of choice has changed day to day but for the month 1/4oz White heads with Z Man MinnowZ  green bodies 3/0 hook have done the best on the Flounder and Redfish. Enjoy the pics!
