Captain Andy Gowen Fishing Report St Marys, GA September 2016

Fishing can turn into a grind! I get asked all the time, “how can you fish so much and not get sick of it?” Well, truth be told, the summer months can be exhausting. When the heat of the summer months kick in and when mother nature just cant quit throwing you Northeast winds, fishing gets tough. After all those hard summer months,  we got a little hint of fall and everything gets re-energized again. My September started out with a bang! I ran several repeat customers from Crooked River State Park and we had a blast! The trout are still running a hair small and the Bull Redfish are starting to show up. Sharks are still doing the majority of the biting but hopefully the water temperature will drop a few degrees and send them back out. Below are a few pics that keep me re-energized!
