Learn More About Our Charter Fishing Trips
CLOTHING: Charters with Captain Andy Gowen are exciting and fun but he wants you to be prepared. If fishing in the hot summer months, wear light colored, loose fitting clothing and wear sunscreen. Also, Captain Andy recommends a hat to keep the sun out of your eyes. Plenty of water and extra sunscreen is always available.
If you are fishing in the late summer early fall months, a light jacket is recommended for the morning chill, as it can be quite breezing moving from one fishing spot to the next. Layered clothing is best so that you can take off any extra layers as the weather warms during the day.
FOOD: Snacks such as chips and crackers are provided along with water and sodas. Please bring with you any specific meal items you prefer to have with you on the boat and Captain Andy will place them in the on board cooler.
BAIT & TACKLE: All Bait & Tackle will be provided by Captain Andy. He has a wide array of baits, and tackle (top of the line equipment) on your trip. If you would like to bring your own bait or tackle, you are welcome to do so. Please let Captain Andy know of any additional items you wish to bring in order for him to make sure there is plenty of room available to keep your bait and tackle in proper storage.
FISHING LICENSE: None required. All fishermen are covered under Captain’s license.
BOATS: Captain Andy has several boats available. The Captain alternates boats according to number of anglers and different types of tides that will be fished that day.
